Christopher D’Arcy

Principal Director / Founder

Christopher’s Swansea family had a history of construction within South Wales. It’s this background that gave him his interest in property. For many years he was actively engaged in the fields of Advertising, Marketing & Design. These skills that have benefited the company in promoting the customers’ properties and the business’ modern image.

Starting in the property market almost 50 years ago he is still very much involved in the development of a fully professional property service in the Swansea Bay area. Personally, he has a real love of houses and has spent his life working on and renovating a whole range of homes from modern apartments to Mumbles fisherman’s cottages and Gower farmhouses.

Although now semi-retired, he’s still busy with his family home and garden in Gower. It’s a full-time job and his two Border Terriers, Alice and Arthur really keeps him on his toes!

Managing Director, Marina Branch Manager

Robin has been involved with the family firm for over ten years and managed the Mumbles Branch through 2008 before moving to the Marina Branch in 2009. Having completed a Law Masters at Swansea University, he has been responsible for bringing a new level of professionalism to the local Estate & Letting market.

Robin has vast experience of the Marina property market and over the years has gained the respect of landlords and vendors alike through a dedicated and hardworking attitude. In his spare time Robin is a keen fitness enthusiast and enjoys travel, having worked in Japan and Australia.

Kate D’Arcy BA (Hons)

Accounts Director / Self Cater Manager

Kate is a language graduate of Exeter University and has been responsible for managing and overseeing the company accounts since 2008. She is professional, organised and efficient, giving assurance to our landlords that their rental income is being well looked after and their accounts in capable hands.

Alongside the accounts management, Kate also manages our self cater rentals, in charge of a growing portfolio of short term rental apartments. She ensures the smooth running of all aspects of the holiday rentals giving peace of mind to guests and landlords alike and ensuring a relaxing and stress-free break.

She is a keen linguist and speaks French and Spanish, having spent periods living in both Paris and Pamplona. In her spare time, Kate enjoys yoga, running and playing the piano.

Sophie Grey

Property Manager

Sophie began her career at Bay in Spring 2014 when she started work as a Property Manager in our Mumbles office. She has since moved to our busy Marina branch where her organisational skills are put to good use managing a large property portfolio. She is meticulous and hard working with great attention to detail and can always be relied upon to get the job done.

In her spare time, Sophie enjoys swimming regularly, walking her dog ‘Rico’ down the Gower and, of course, some regular retail therapy! She enjoys visiting new places and hopes to expand on her travel plans over the next few years.

Isobel Haworth

Property Manager

Isobel started work at Bay in Spring 2016 as a Property Manager, based at our Marina branch. At ‘front of house’, Isobel is a friendly face and is polite and welcoming and always keen to provide help and information and resolve queries. With a wealth of experience working with the general public, Isobel has excellent customer relations skills and is polite and efficient.

In her spare time, Isobel enjoys being creative, exploring new crafts and going to live music events. She also likes to keep active and enjoys various styles of dancing and is part of a local dance group.

Deborah Brooks


Deborah joined the team in 2016 where she works as a Negotiator dealing with a variety of enquiries and managing a number of self cater properties. This is a challenging role over the peak periods and Deborah ensures it all runs smoothly with her organisational and problem-solving skills. Having previously run her own clothing business, Deborah’s keen interest in property development and interior design attracted her to a role in the residential sales and lettings industry.

She lives locally with her partner and they enjoy walking their Airedale terrier ‘Jazz’ around the Marina and Swansea beachfront. She also has a keen interest in travelling and has been fortunate to visit Rome, New York and Croatia within the last couple of years.

Lora Sainsbury

Property Manager

Lora joined our city centre branch in Summer 2017. During her previous work experience she has gained excellent customer relations and communication skills which she has brought to her new role as Property Manager. She has high energy and enthusiasm for the job and is always motivated and willing to learn.

Outside of work, Lora is not one to sit still and when she’s not pulling pints in her local pub as her second job, she is a regular gym-goer – usually putting the rest of us to shame by completing her daily workout before 9am! The eldest of four sisters, she is very family orientated and enjoys spending time with them as well as visiting family in Spain and indulging in the Spanish culture.

Ben Woods

Property Manager

Ben is our newest recruit and is based in our busy Marina branch where he manages a large portfolio of rental and sales properties. Since completing his higher education qualifications in Business & Entrepreneurship, Ben has gained a range of experience in property management, lettings and sales, both in Swansea and London. He is hard working, enthusiastic and always eager to learn more about the property industry.

In his spare time, Ben enjoys attending festivals and live music events and, when time allows, he also likes to write and play his own music. Not one to mess with, he has also achieved awards in Martial Arts and reached finalist level at the British King Fu Championships in 2013!

Claudio Gomes


Claudio started work with Bay in the Summer of 2016, where he joined the team at our newly-opened branch at St David’s Square. His enthusiasm and dedication to his role as Negotiator means that he sees a task through from start to finish with great efficiency and attention to detail. His friendly and welcoming personality means that he is a pleasure to work with, both from a colleague and client perspective.

Having grown up in Portugal, he also brings his linguistic skills in Portuguese and Spanish to the business, which is useful for some of our foreign tenants! Claudio also has a huge passion for football, Swansea City FC in particular, having previously worked for the team and alongside the footballers. When he’s not working or watching football, Claudio likes nothing more than to be at home with his partner and two young daughters.

Anwen Cale

Accounts Administrator

Anwen joined our Marina branch in the Spring of 2014 and is now based in the accounts department at our City Centre branch, where she is responsible for the weekly processing of our landlord payments, supplier payments and liaising with tenants, as well as numerous other administrational duties. She is hard working, efficient and professional and always happy to help wherever possible.

She is currently learning Italian as well as the saxophone and takes part in yoga, salsa classes, playing tennis with her son and climbing at her local indoor climbing centre…not all at the same time. Anwen also regularly walks with her two rescue dogs and volunteers for local environmental groups on the weekends.
